To improve and develop smaller enterprises in the trade of metalworking
fluid manufacturing by conducting necessary undertakings, to secure
members' opportunities of fair business activities, and to enable
them to achieve stabilization and rationalization of corporative management. |

Approved by MITI, and the JMFA was inaugurated officially. |
| Jul. 1976: |
Having been specified as a trade requiring modernization according
to the relative law for smaller enterprises, we drafted a 5-year
plan for the purpose. |
| Apr. 1978: |
Regarding the nitrite-amine issue, we distributed appropriate
JMFA labels. |
| May 1986: |
We published the first issue of "Zenkoyu (JMFA) News". |
| May 1994: |
A biography "20 years of JMFA" was published to commemorate
20th |
| anniversary. |
| Jul. 1995: |
We made and distributed container markings and labels pursuant
to PL Law. |
| Apr. 1997: |
We elaborated MSDS and PL container marking models conforming
to PCA. |
| Jun. 1997: |
We collaborated on the revision of JISK2241(Cutting) and JISK2242(Quenching).

| Mar. 2000: |
We participated in the revisable work of JISK2241 Metal Working
Fluids. |
| Mar. 2001: |
We distributed container labels for "Product containing
Chlorine additive". |
| Nov. 2001: |
We opened an internet Home Page to encourage information sharing. |
| May 2002: |
The Charter was revised. The Stipulations on Director's Meeting
and the Rules on Working Groups were both newly enacted. |
